backed up waste
*Estimated based on your BMI
Bowel Movement Frequency
1 - 2 times a week - Your bowel movements are slower than normal. On average, you should poop about once a day.
Every other day - Your bowel movement is moderately slow. The average person poops about once a day.
Once per day - Congrats! Your bowel movements are regular, but you could still have anywhere from 5 - 20 lbs. of waste stuck in your system.
Twice per day - Congrats! Your bowel movements are regular and going at the right speed, but you could still have anywhere from 5 - 20 lbs of waste stuck in your system.
3+ times per day - Congrats! Your bowel movements are regular. “Going” frequently is fine, but if your poop isn’t solid, this could be a sign of diarrhea. You may want to consider Inno Cleanse to help bulk up your bowel movements.

Bristol Stool Chart
TYPE 1
Appearance: Like hard, separate lumps
Indicates: Can be a sign of constipation
Small but hard to pass, Type 1 poo can be a sign of constipation. It’s spent too much time in your system, likely causing you to feel bloated, uncomfortable and strain for too long on the toilet. Don’t worry though. Hydrating, the right food and supplements can help soften your stool, making it easier to pass and saving you time on the toilet.
TYPE 2
Appearance: Like a dry, sausage-shaped, lumpy log
Indicates: You could be constipated
You likely struggle to pass this hard, dry stool, which can cause a lot of unnecessary straining while you “go”. Type 2 poo can be a sign you have a slower bowel than most. Don’t worry though. Hydrating, the right food and supplements can help soften your stool, making it easier to pass and saving you time on the toilet.
TYPE 3
Appearance: Sausage-shaped with small cracks on the surface
Indicates: Congrats! You’re doo-doo-ing just right
Somewhat soft and easy to pass, Type 3 feces are normal. If it’s taking you longer than a minute to push it out though, drink some more water. Keep hydrating, eating clean and taking the right supplements so you can stay on track and completely clean out your system every time you go.
TYPE 4
Appearance: Like a small, smooth snake
Indicates: Congrats! You’re doo-doo-ing just right
Soft and easy to pass, Type 4 stool is ideal. Like, if “poop goals” were a thing…Type 4 takes first place. Make sure it happens every one to three days. Keep hydrating, eating clean and taking the right supplements so you can stay on track and completely clean out your system every time you go.
TYPE 5
Appearance: Like soft “blobs” with clear-cut edges
Indicates: Can be a sign you need more fiber
Soft and easy to pass, Type 5 feces aren’t bad, but can be a sign you need a bit more fiber in your diet. If you feel like you need to run to the bathroom, this can also be an early sign of diarrhea. High-fiber veggies and high-quality supplements can help bulk things up and get you back on track.
TYPE 6
Appearance: Like fluffy, mushy ice cream with ragged edges
Indicates: Can be a sign of diarrhea
Too soft and a sign of diarrhea — especially if you have this more than three times a day — Type 6 stool is telling you to drink more water. You also have to make sure you replace the minerals and electrolytes lost from “going” too often. Healthy fruits and veggies and high-quality supplements can help bulk things up and get you back on track.
TYPE 7
Appearance: Watery, completely liquid
Indicates: You’ve got the runs, aka diarrhea
Type 7 moves through your system too quickly, which means it didn’t have enough time to shape into healthy, normal poop. It could be from something you ate or a sign of something more serious. Check with a doctor if this lasts for multiple days or if you notice signs of dehydration. Hydrating and high-quality supplements can help bulk things up and get you back on track.
Stool Color
Pale, chalky-colored
Light, chalky colored stool could mean two things: you’re lacking bile (the fluid from your liver and gallbladder), or you’re seeing side effects of medication. Check with your doctor if this color lasts for a few days or longer.
Red-ish
Don’t stress — red-ish doo-doo is perfectly normal, especially if you love food like beets, cranberries or recently ate something with red food coloring. If it’s suddenly bright red and lasts for a few days, check with your doctor. It could be a sign of bleeding in the large intestine or rectum.
YELLOW-ISH
If you love to snack on sweet potatoes, carrots, or cook with turmeric, you’ll likely have yellow-ish poo. If your poo turns yellow out of nowhere though, this could be a sign of an infection or too much fat in the stool. Check with your doctor if this color lasts for a few days or longer.
Brown
Congrats! Brown doo-doo in all shades is ideal. It can range from light brown to dark, depending on your diet and medications. Keep doo-dooing what you’re doing so you can stay on the right track.
Black or dark brown
Whew! Dark brown doo-doo is perfectly normal. It comes in all shades of brown. Food and medications could be why yours is darker than most, especially if you like to snack on foods like black licorice, blueberries and beets.
YOU’RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK,
BUT YOU’RE STILL BACKED UP...
100 million people in the U.S. struggle with constipation.
And being “constipated” doesn’t just mean you aren’t going number two enough.
If you...
- Struggle to start or finish a bowel movement
- Pass stools that are hard and dry
- Feel like your system isn’t completely “empty” after you go
these are other signs of constipation and that your body can’t excrete what it needs to.
Keeping your system plugged up with toxic waste affects:
- Your digestion
- Your gut health
- Your mood
- Your ability to focus
- Your immunity
And here’s what’s even scarier:
The average person is carrying between 5 - 20 POUNDS OF WASTE in their intestines at all times.
That’s like having:
(5 lbs)
(5 lbs)
(10 lbs)
(20 lbs)
of toxic poop stuck in your gut!
If you’re struggling with uncomfortable stomach pain, bloating or have a few extra inches on your waistline you can’t seem to get rid of — your body is likely in serious need of a detox to purge it out.
